“A good song reminds us of what we’re fighting for.”
--Pete Seeger
If the past year has done nothing else, it has illuminated for us the profound need for social justice in our country, and around the world. Music has always been an integral part of the struggle for civil rights, for equality, for religious freedom, for… justice. And the music of the Jewish people has always reflected our deep commitment to the struggle for a more just world.
Join us on Sunday, March 7, when we will present a day of music and conversation exploring the theme of "Singing through Struggle." We will join hands with our brothers and sisters from other minority communities to sing, share our stories, and reflect on our shared commitment to the fight for a more just world, as reflected in our music.
